Our church members are facing a variety of challenges on a daily basis. Some of them are inside the walls of the church, some of them come from family, others come from business or cultural issues.
As pastors and ministry leaders, we have a responsibility to help guide our members in addressing these issues with a Christian Biblical worldview. Shepherding the flock does not just mean guiding them in the right direction on Sundays! Pastoring today requires that we equip the saints of our ministries to face today's challenges from a Christian perspective in their everyday lives - and to bring glory to Jesus in the process.
If you are a pastor or ministry leader, I invite you to be a part of the Pastor's Roundtable. Each week we will discuss a current issue that is impacting the people we serve. We will attempt to unpack it - then challenge each other and our listeners in the ways that we can address these issues as Christians. These discussions will be lively, informative, Christ-centered - and all with the idea of giving voice to the truth of the Gospel in today’s culture.
A few things to keep in mind:
- You must be a committed Christian, relying on the grace of Jesus Christ in all that you do.
- You must be a Pastor or leader of a Christian ministry. Certain exceptions might be made in order to bring in topic experts.
- We record via Zoom every Tuesday. You will need a relatively good internet connection, mic, and a camera.
- You do not need to commit to every week. We will have a pool of participants, from which we will draw 4-5 people based upon expertise and availability.
