Sit Down and Shut Up

Pastors need to know when to sit down and just listen to the leaders they have trained.

I continue my discussion with Dave Lutes, minister, church planter and master trainer in leadership development. Today we talk about how important it is that pastors develop leaders within the church and how rewarding it can be when those same leaders tell those pastors to sit down, they have it from here.

I started this podcast because I think the Christian church here in America has not done the greatest jobs in preparing its members to meet the challenges that we're facing today.

The Pastor's Voice

I talk to Pastors, Missionaries, and Christian leaders who are passionate about the Gospel of Christ. We discuss a wide range of topics that impact Christians today. The Church is not an afterthought or a byproduct of our faith - it is the only institution that Jesus directly ordained. The dedicated leaders of that institution should be at the forefront of discussing the issues of the day - but they are not. Often they are shoved aside as irrelevant - or are just keeping their heads down to take care of their people.

I want to change that.

I am passionate about Christian Worldview. As Christians, we need to live our lives in response to God's grace in all things - not just those sacred times on Sundays.

These are your Pastors, your Missionaries, or people who have dedicated their lives to serving Christ - and they do indeed have something to say!
